Hatred is an emotion that deceives us into thinking that perception is reality. In resembling the one I hated; I deceived myself that I was the one I hated. Here is a bit of my story of overcoming that lie.
A Trust Score, similar to a Credit Score, provides insight into another's trustworthiness. Determining this score allows one to minimize the hurt when they take a risk on another, much like the Credit Score reduces the risk for a creditor.
Trust is not an all or nothing proposal. There are degrees of trust and degrees of trustworthiness. Figuring this out helps one navigate the rapids of life with others.
Have you seen the bumper-sticker that reads: Jesus is my Co-Pilot. Perhaps that is true of your relationship but is that what Jesus signed up for? What about being your pilot? I've seen those bumper stickers too, but doubt that would be the Life-to-the-Max He designed you to experience.
